The Truth About Seed Oils and Low-Fat Diets: Kennedy Jr. Sounds the Alarm
For years, our followers have known that our nutrition philosophy is all about pushing back against trends like demonizing fats, steering clear of junk food, and exposing the widespread corruption across medical, scientific, governmental, and media fields.
For example, we’ve long warned about the health risks of seed oils (sunflower, peanut, etc.).
Of course, many may have dismissed these warnings, thinking, “Ah, just more conspiracy theories!” or “Diet advice should only come from a doctor who studied for it!” or even “We should follow official dietary guidelines.”
But now, we have none other than Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on our side, the son of Bob and nephew of President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in the famous Dallas shooting in 1963.
We believe this marks a monumental moment for global nutrition and, more importantly, for uncovering hidden truths.
On August 23, 2024, concluding his campaign for the White House and aligning with former President Donald Trump, Kennedy Jr. openly criticized the American healthcare system, calling it nothing more than a “sickness factory.”
Speaking in Phoenix, Arizona, Kennedy explained that Americans are falling ill due to a food chain saturated with hyper-processed consumer products, loaded with seed oils and environmental toxins.
“We spend more on healthcare than any other country on Earth,” Kennedy stated, “and we have the worst health outcomes of any nation… No one has a burden of chronic disease like we do.”
In the 1960s, when Kennedy’s uncle was president and his father was the U.S. Attorney General, American healthcare spending was only 5 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
In economic terms, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) represents the aggregate market value of all final goods and services produced within a country’s borders over a given period. It’s widely regarded as a key indicator of national prosperity and a symbol of collective well-being, development, or progress.
In 2021, healthcare spending reached more than 18 percent of the GDP. Since the early 1960s, obesity rates have tripled, corresponding with the rise of food industrialization and the low-fat diet craze.
Kennedy illustrated these statistics during his speech in Arizona, highlighting that “half of Americans are now dealing with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes.”
“When I was a child, juvenile diabetes was virtually unheard of,” Kennedy said, explaining that the average pediatrician rarely saw a case of diabetes in teens. “Today, one in three children who walk through a pediatrician’s door is diabetic or prediabetic.”
“We’ve seen a surge in neurological diseases that were nonexistent in my childhood,” he added, emphasizing that childhood obesity now threatens military readiness. “No other nation is experiencing this epidemic. This is happening only in America.”
Kennedy blames the country’s ongoing health crisis on a corrupt healthcare system that caters to a population dependent on biochemically toxic foods, specifically engineered to be highly addictive.
“These foods are made up primarily of processed sugar, ultra-processed grains, and seed oils,” said Kennedy, designed by “laboratory scientists” who formerly worked in the cigarette industry that acquired many of the major food companies in the ‘70s and ‘80s.
That’s exactly right.
Last week, Kennedy referenced nutrition journalist Nina Teicholz’s 2015 bestseller on dietary fats, Big Fat Surprise, which exposed how the government and the food industry vilified saturated fats to prioritize cheaper, harmful alternatives like seed oils.
“This widely cited book reveals a health scandal that’s significantly fueled our nation’s chronic disease epidemic,” Kennedy wrote on X. “Ironically, Nina was a vegetarian for over 20 years before writing this book.”
Kennedy added on Friday that the toxic chemicals in processed foods “increase estrogen” levels and interfere with other hormones essential for optimal metabolism.
The rise in childhood estrogen levels has led to early puberty and types of cancer, including breast cancer.
“We’re mass-poisoning all our children and adults,” Kennedy stated.
And it doesn’t end there.
On Fox News, Bob Kennedy’s son further explained:
- FOOD DYES: “Yellow food dye is derived from petroleum” and “has been linked to depression, autoimmune lesions, and ADHD,” Kennedy stated. Red dye is “also very harmful.” In Europe, companies use “natural dyes,” but in the U.S., “they get away” with using synthetic dyes. There are “nearly a thousand chemicals in our food” that are banned or discouraged in Europe.
- NATURAL FLAVORS: In America, “natural flavors are chemicals,” making it impossible to trust what’s listed on ingredient labels, Kennedy argued. This is another example of how government agencies are “captured by the industries they’re supposed to regulate.”
- PESTICIDES: These chemicals, used to kill pests, pose long-term health risks, including cancer, hormonal imbalances, neurological disorders, and weakened immunity. Organic foods use natural, less toxic pesticides in limited amounts, while conventional foods often rely on synthetic pesticides that are stronger and longer-lasting. Even foods like kale and strawberries are “contaminated with pesticides,” making them harmful unless “certified organic,” Kennedy said. What appears to be “healthy food” might actually “be hurting you.”
So, it’s time to question everything we think we know about food and health. Are the foods we trust really nourishing us, or are they products of an industry that prioritizes profit over truth? As Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and many experts are revealing, much of what we’ve been told about “healthy eating” may actually be steering us away from real health. This isn’t about conspiracy—it’s about transparency and taking control of what we put into our bodies.
Let’s break free from outdated beliefs shaped by those who may not have our best interests at heart.
By staying informed and choosing whole, nutrient-rich foods, we can make better decisions for ourselves and our loved ones.
Remember, true health starts with knowledge and the courage to question the status quo.
